swelling, tenderness, redness, formation of bruising.  There is a smaill chance of infection with any injection but it is rare.

Any Pre and post-treatment advice?

Avoid drugs that make you bleed.  A list will be give to you at your consultation.  Be prepared for some redness and swelling at the sight which goes away.  Apply cold compresses to reduce the swelling is helpful.
